Quality Inspector

Come join our well- established company, conveniently located near the 405 and 22 freeway in Westminster, CA., We offer a fun, casual dress work environment. This is a full-time position working Monday-Thursday on the morning shift with occasional overtime.

We are custom plastic Thermoformers. A major part of our business is aerospace.

Job Duties:

• Inspect in process material against the production order and part prints
• Thoroughly inspect part lengths and all critical dimensions
• Learn and understand customer specific requirements
• Ensure required stretching blocks and gauges are used
• Alert supervisor when suspect or out of tolerance material is found
• Monitor dimensional variances during the stretch and quench processes
• Conduct First Article inspections
• Complete any required inspection documentation
• Perform daily duties as required
• Assist production as needed

Other Duties:

· Ability to analyze information provided on blueprints

· Strong math skills

· Strong computer skills

· Strong problem-solving skills

· Ability to learn to use QMS software

· Able to interpret part drawings and measurement requirements

· Experience using tape measure, calipers, and micrometers

· Good communication skills

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma

Experience: 1-2 years Quality Inspection experience in a Manufacturing setting

· Ability to stand for 10 hours

· Lifting or carrying up to 40-50 pounds

· Pushing, Twisting, or Pulling

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
