Jim Goode

Chief Executive Officer

Jim has 32 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, wireless telecommunications, aerospace & defense, and medical equipment industries. Jim has also held managerial roles in accounting, finance, operations, customer service, marketing, sales, human resources, and corporate development. He has fulfilled leadership positions with increasing levels of responsibility for LA Cellular, Cingular Wireless, and AT&T Mobility. He was Vice President of Corporate Development, serving the Aerospace and Defense markets for AP Labs, which was acquired by Kontron; Chief Operating Officer for Rad Works, serving the medical imaging equipment market; and Vice President of Client Solutions for EGS. Jim had a long career in wireless telecommunications with Director level roles in Operations, Sales Support and Marketing for AT&T Mobility, Cingular Wireless and LA Cellular. During that time Jim earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Southern California. Jim has served as American Innotek & Tru-Form Plastics President and CEO since 2015.

John Hahn

Chief Financial Officer

John Hahn is a business professional with over 35 years of leadership experience with Fortune 500 companies including L3Harris and GE Aviation.  He has an MBA in Finance from CSULB and BA in Economics from UCLA.  John’s financial leadership experience has been primarily in Defense Electronics and Aerospace Manufacturing; with compliance expertise in government accounting.  He also served as the President for GE’s Aviation’s Landing Gear and Fuel Systems business located in Santa Ana, Ca and was responsible for the landing gear delivery of Blackhawk, Predator C and X47B plus the development and delivery Aerial Refueling Systems for the 767 Global Tanker Transport Aircraft.  John has training in Hoshin Kanre (Continuous Improvement) and has attended GE’s Leadership Development Program in Crotonville, NY.

John enjoys spending time with his family and participates in outdoor adventure sports like mountain biking, surfing and off-roading.  He resides in Huntington Beach, Ca with his two college age children, two dogs and wife of 31 years.

Jason Wagner

Plant Manager

Jason Wagner has 35 years of plastics manufacturing experience. Starting in 1988 working for his father’s business, Wagner Engineering Co., Jason was later contracted to Iron Clad Can Liners by WeCo as a machine shop die technician for LLDPE/LDPE blown film. From 1988 to 1999, his primary interest was blown film bag making and AG cast films. 1999 brought a new challenge his way in the form of profile coating of timber and injection molding, which would remain his focus until 2013 when Jason started the journey into PP/PET thermoforming for food packaging. After a short stint in blow molding of HDPE/PET bottles and containers, Jason returned to PET thermoforming for food packaging until 2023, when he joined the team at Tru-Form Plastics.

Joe Campbell

Design/Engineering Manager

Joe has manufacturing experience in Quality Control, CAD Design, and Operations Management. He began his career in plastics by establishing an inspection department for a large injection molding company as a QC Manager. Later promoted to Plant Manager, Joe piloted the first program to automate the entire production line. He then built a state-of-the-art QC lab with all digital SQC/SPC equipment & PC interfaces for Reynolds Metals – Flexible Packaging Division. Joe has invaluable experience building cleanroom environments and working to AS 9100 and ISO 9001standards with Kaizen and Empowered TEAMs. As a CAD design engineer, Joe has designed and built hundreds of thermoform tools, most recently designing and building molds for heavy gauge and thin gauge thermoforming.

Joel Smith

Business Development Manager

Joel is a sales professional with over 25 years of experience in sales and business development. He has a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University, Chico. Joel is the Business Development Manager in the sales department, supporting the sales team in developing new business with existing and new customers. With more than 20 years of experience in plastic sales, selling engineered plastic components with a focus on custom plastic projects primarily within the medical device, life science, ophthalmic, and biopharma industries. Joel brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to his role. In his spare time, Joel enjoys spending time with his family and mountain biking.

Carlos Ballesteros

Quality Manager

Carlos Ballesteros holds three degrees: a bachelor’s in industrial engineering, a master’s in business administration, and a postgraduate degree in manufacturing with an emphasis on quality. He has more than 25 years of experience as a Quality and Continuous Improvement Representative for aerospace, automotive, and medical companies. Carlos started as a process engineer at Rogers Corporation, a flexible circuits manufacturing company, where he completed his training as a Lean Sigma Black Belt and was later promoted to quality manager. His experience in quality assurance and control, as well as continuous improvement processes, has been applied in various manufacturing fields, such as plastic thermoforming, molding, over-molding, CNC machining, printed circuit board assemblies, cables, harnesses, and box assemblies. Carlos joined the TFP team in March 2023.

Jacklyn Mora

Human Resources Manager

Jacklyn has more than 10 years of Human Resources experience, with many of those years at companies in aerospace manufacturing. She has served and represented companies with as many as 1,000 employees, and much of her experience has been in fast-paced environments like Tru-Form Plastics. In her role as Human Resources Manager, Jacklyn works hard to help Tru-Form achieve its business goals while creating an engaged and happy workforce.

Mark Franco

Procurement Manager

Mark has over 28 years of experience in Thermoforming. He has a deep knowledge of the various types of plastics he procures and has built strong relationships with the companies that supply plastics to Tru-Form. Mark started his career in an entry-level production position and was promoted to supervisory and managerial positions. He joined InterTrade Industries in 2015 as a Materials Manager and was promoted to Interim Plant Manager before receiving his current position when Tru-Form Plastics was integrated into InterTrade Industries.

Maggie Shaw

Lead Account Manager

Maggie has over 30 years of professional customer service experience. She began her career managing a team of 19 people in a retail store. Prior to joining Tru-Form in March of 2018, she was responsible for inside sales for a special purpose alloy and metals manufacturing company. Maggie is an exceptionally positive person who expedites services to support the urgent needs of our customers.

Jose Ruiz

Facilities and Machine Maintenance Manager

Jose joined the TFP team in 2020 as a seasoned 15-year mechanic and was then promoted to his current position within 6 months. He has an electrician certification, and he has been working in the plastic industry for over 12 years. Jose is experienced with various production equipment, such as injector molding extruders and thermoforming. As a team player who loves working collaboratively, Jose is always looking for ways to improve downtime and efficiency on the job.
